As part of Kagem’s ongoing provisions to mitigate the contagion of Covid-19 and following discussions with local authorities, Kagem identified the most essential items needed locally in the fight against the pandemic.
Kagem was delighted to organise and present a donation of PPE, medical supplies, cleaning products and sanitisation items, to Lufwanya District Hospital, Nkana Clinic and local primary and secondary schools: Chapula, Kapila and Masasa.
For the health centres, donations included amongst other things: hand sanitizer, cleaning products, gloves, boots, thermometers and both surgical and personal protective equipment; whilst the schools received: bleach, hand sanitizer, buckets and thermometers.
These donations follow previous contributions from Kagem to benefit the local communities last April and June.
