The Antsahamarofoza primary school is officially open! Today the Gemfields Foundation board of trustees joined the REXMA team, pupils, parents, teachers and local villagers to celebrate the opening of their primary school. After a virtual tour of the new buildings, the pupils sang together and a group of the parents danced outside their brand new school to celebrate the moment.
The school serves 195 local children, providing education, a hot meal and clean running water in a rural location, as well as being a community centre for the adults.
