The Masasa School construction project sits in the Lumpuma Chiefdom in Zambia, and consists of a block of three classrooms, pit latrines and accommodation for teachers.
The awarded contractor provided employment to 10 members of the local community and works commenced on 20 December 2019. Current progress stands at 80%, with all the buildings at roof level and metal works, such as door and window frames, as well as painting left to go. Following setbacks as a result of COVID-19, the project is now expected to complete during Q3 2020.
