Sandy Leong and Gemfields hosted a gallery exhibition and cocktail reception at Exhibition The Barn by Elena Frampton, at Bridgehampton, New York, in support of the Gemfields Foundation.
The event featured works by artist Nicholas Evans alongside the Sandy Leong x Gemfields Sol collection with proceeds from sales of both benefitting Gemfields’ newly launched charitable arm.
The collection represents a first-of-its-kind partnership between Sandy Leong Jewelry and Gemfields Foundation.
As Sandy Leong’s philanthropic areas of focus are educating children and enabling women to enter the workforce, the proceeds generated will contribute to two active projects: the construction of a primary school in Madagascar and the creation of a vocational training centre in Zambia.
